Abby was introduced to yoga through chanting and meditation
at age eleven.
At eighteen, She was invited to Encinitas, California
where she spent several days chanting and meditating with Gurumayi
Chidvilasananda, who had walked the path under the guidance of
Guru Swami Baba Muktananda. As an adult Abby was introduced to
asana practice and fell in love with the Ashtanga method. After
completing her first teacher training in 2003, Abby continued to
study the Jivamukti Method with founders David Life and Sharon
Gannon in New York. Abby received blessings from David and Sharon
as a certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher in 2005.
Dave has been practicing
and studying yoga since 1998. His physical practice has been

Das, Godfrey Devereux, Mark Whitwell and Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev.
Dave has taught thousands of classes over the past 12 years in
the Detroit area and continues to teach the delicate balance
of physical and subtle,
masculine and feminine as a method to experience a vibrant, happy
life.

MI.
Over the past 7 years they have led numerous trainings
and Yoga Lifestyle programs. Abby and Dave are both E-RYTs, Experienced

from Mark Whitwell as certified Heart of Yoga Teachers, to transmit
the yoga teachings of Krishnamacharya, considered to be the Teacher
of the teachers.

of sacred sound, chant and vibration. They have hosted kirtan
events with Krishna Das, Bhagavan Das, Girish and many others.
